Summit pictures.
Remember to take pictures of your group. Whether you reach the summit or not.
Hopefully Mudrat will volunteer to make another poster. Hi Kevin!

All groups who summit of course have no way of knowing if there are other non-summitting groups so all should take a pic. |

Neil, we (TAG, me, and company) summitted Skylight and Gray today. Should the summit photos be posted on this thread or submitted another way?

Does anyone out there know how to convert a frame from a video image taken with an apple iphone, into a single jpg image? I inadvertantly took our summit picture on the video setting.

No doubt there is a better way, but a quick and dirty solution would be to take a screen shot of the frame you want and convert it to jpg format. For me, on my Mac, that would entail using Grab and Preview applications

I just saw this thread while on lunch...
Please email them to me with the names of everyone (if possible) & the mountain you hiked to: mudrat(at)mackenziefamily.com ***I'm going with the assumption that all submissions are ok to publish beyond this poster.*** Here's a bonus! If we complete the 46 (still to be confirmed), Adirondack Life Magazine will be printing a small piece on the event! The summit shots that I receive will be sent to their designer who will choose a few to include.

I have an iphone 5, and shot our summit photos as video. I found an app called MovieToImage (www.iphoneography.com) $0.99. The process was dead simple once I had the app.

Kevin, I will send you cropped and Photoshopped versions of our summit pics so that you have the least amount of mucking around to do.

Cool, thanks I appreciate it. Keep the dpi as high as you can. The poster is 300 dpi at 20" by 30". 20 more summit photos to go.

Summit Poster Feb 27
Here's how the poster currently stands folks. This will at least show what the crops look like for each photo and what we're missing as of 7:25 a.m. This is just a web version, the real poster is much high in quality. Only MISSING 4 Mountains

Syd would love that, being the only child involved and nine years old at that.

Anyway we could get a bigger picture of Geoff (Kyler)'s head in the center of this poster?
